Couldn't find many posts about the IZH 35M or variants here.
Just fixing mine up and want to see what others have to say about this nice pistol.
Like everything about it except the grips, and I'm fixing that today! Plan on making new ones, but for right now just ground down the old ones to a straight finger groove type grips. Like the adjustable trigger
Put the weaver mount on today and plan of finding something like a small ultradot to put on. My eyes just aren't that good for irons anymore. too bad, cause I like the way it looks with just the iron sights.
Reminds me of my old FAS 604 I used to have and shouldn't have gotten rid of.

I have one which I picked up used. I haven't yet given it a good tryout, just tested for functioning. Did you check the sticky at the top if this forum? Even though they are not imported any longer, it is telling that Walther sells a "gussied up" version, and the latest, hottest Bullseye .22, the Feinwerkbau AW93, is also based on it.

I got info, but not very much personal input.

Here's a pic at the end of today after I reworked my grips. I painted the grips olive drab because I had to fill the adjustable slot with bondo, and the gun reminds me of a russian Tank. It sounds like one when the slide closes too!

The GF is using one for bulleye shooting, she's pretty happy with... except for some magazine issues! Seems like only one of her 4 magazines is 100% reliable...

Yes. I own one. I won the 2005 NRA Bullseye sectional with mine in the sharpshooter class, beat over 200 other shooters nationwide. Did it shooting russian junior steel case ammo and using a Leupold 1-inch red dot with 4moa dot. Bart E. Hightower. Look it up in the match records booklet from 2005. The guns are shooters. Regards.

Izh 35 M

I have one with a bushnel red dot and it is one of my favorite guns to shoot, very accurate with only about 5 missfires in about 2000 rounds.
One web site with a lot of info is IZH35M scrapbook i just typed it in google and it came up, I hope this helps.

I have one as well. It wears a 4X leopold pistol scope, and will shoot with lesser rifles at 59 yd. Does anyone know if they will stand high veocity ammo or not? I don"t want to shoot alot of it, but I really don't want to break it either. Kirk
