Has anyone used Aguila Super Extra 40 grain Solid Point in their TX22? How was the function and accuracy (group sizes) and how dirty or clean was it? Dunham's is having a Black Friday special on the 250 round box.

A Favorite..

A favorite plinking ammo - functions well in my TX22 and not dirtier than CCI Blazer.

I just bought a 1000 rounds at Rural King for for $16.99 a box plus tax. I’ve shot out of one box which functioned 100% but like a lot of rimfire a little smokey.

My 22 rimfires always have functioned well on this ammo. I’ve shot many cases of that ammo over the years. I find it’s performance is pretty close to CCI Mini Mags.

I use it in rifles (CZ-Ruger-Savage) and a Buck Mark utx pistol. It works well in all and the best bulk ammo I have found in a year. Not as dirty as most.
Both the 40 grain solids and 38 grain HP do very similar/well in my firearms.

Should work fine in the TX. My TX isn't picky about ammo.

I've shot plenty of Aguila in mine, but mostly the SV variety.
