Yeah, this was our take. We didn't ever eat out, but have since covid just to try and help out those who work there.

We're spending about 15-18% more this year. But due to inflation, that means we're obtaining about the same amount of goods. Next year we'll probably spend more and get even less.

The only thing that has changed for me is I’m eating out more at mom and pop or family owned restaurants (my favorite Chinese restaurant is one) and when I pay or leave my table my tip to the server/waiter is the same as the price of my food…dollar for dollar. (It doesn’t go unappreciated)… These folks have taken a beating during this ‘crap’ show (I’m striving to watch my language when posting on a family friendly forum)…we all know what I mean to convey

I was an “essential worker “... I didn’t get to stay home and work the 4 acres of produce. I did enjoy shopping in stores with almost no one else walking the aisles
