Thought you might like to see a pic. At 50 yds it'll do 1/4" with JSB 18.15 Exact jumbo heavies.

Nice. I think I prefer the look of the older moderator design but I want that LRT stock.

When you shoot it off of a rest, do you rest it like that?

Yes, the bottle is about as stout as they come and there is no movement of the gun when firing so accuracy is really quite good as is. I tried the stock on the rest but it has a rail down there in the front and it wants to wobble more than the bottle.

I've tried the FX 22 grain slugs and I'm struggling a bit with them. They are beautifully made but if I try to push them faster than the diabolo 18's the groups open up to about 3/4" at 50 yards. There is about three inches of drop compared to the 18's and that seems a bit much.

But it gives me another problem to solve, so all is good.

Beautiful gun you have there! Almost bought one myself for a slug gun but not cheap. Decided to go back to rimfire and get a Tikka T1X.

Have you tried any NSA slugs through it? I've heard the FX 22 Hybrids are rather large in diameter and really are slow through the barrels. I have a Taipan Veteran Long .22 and going to try the NSA 17.5gr and 20.2gr slugs through it. But it's a laser with the 18gr JSBs.

I haven't tried the NSA slugs yet. You're right about the FX slugs being a tad snug but they are soft lead, though you may have a point about them having too much drag going down the barrel.

I really like the PCP's because I can shoot off of the deck and don't have to walk the 100 yards over to my range to shoot, though I do shoot some rimfire from the deck when the wife isn't home.

Oh yeah I'm a big fan of PCPs and my main shooter. Whisper quiet and precise. Mines easily good out to 100yds. Anyways I was able to test the 17.5gr NSAs out of my gun lastnight. It shoots the 18gr JSBs at 925fps. Here's my results. Sighted in with JSBs at 50yds they are same elevation but .2 mils to the right. Very tight grouping though.

Thanks brother! I buy my NSAs straight from there website. Nick and his family don't mess around and ship out usually same day or next. Also flat rate $7.00 shipping no matter how many you order.
