Ruger Mark II 50th Anniversary

The wife surprised me with a 50th Anniversary Mark II today! Previous owner took it to the range when he bought it, put 50 rounds through it, then cleaned it and put it away. Unfortunately he passed away recently. He can rest assured that it's found a good home!

Well done to your wife! I bought my 50th Anniversary new. I've had it out a few times, but very little. They're great!

Those are sweet little pistols, I gave my anniversary model to my son, I missed it so bad that I bought a MKII standard to replace it.

I have a 50th Anniversary model that was I working to restore. Previous owner thrashed the grip frame by using a screw driver to pull the mainspring lever out. Along with other scratches and dents, thereís rust and finish issues. If thereís one model to work on to bring back to life, itís this one. Will post pix once Iím done. Congrats to the OP for having a great wife!
