Thinking of purchasing a 10-22. Was looking at the Browning SAA Semi but at first glimpse seemed pricey. Will the 10-22 chamber shorts and colibri's. Also in NYS, does the Safe Act allow for semi-auto's or is that dictated by size of magazine and/or pistol grip? Thanks
Semi-auto is legal. If it is a fixed magazine you can have the evil-features. If it is a removable magazine you cannot have the evil features. Magazine with 10 rounds max capacity.
This. Stay away from pistol grip stocks and threaded barrels and you will be fine.
As far as shorts and colibris go, I personally haven't tried them in mine but doubt they will cycle the action, colibris especially. Shorts may work with a lighter spring like the one KIDD offers.
