Having worked at mt very first retail job at Dicks a few years ago, I now understand the madness. Halloween is short and quick, and Christmas goes on all year. I remember my mother used to start buying Christmas gifts in January when things were on sale. So, they want to get started early before people start running short of money too close to Christmas. Now decorating your house for Christmas in October is a tad early...

last year I bought a three foot tall skeleton at lowes. I painted him red and hung him on a oak tree on the sand road that runs thru the farm. we call him Red Skeleton.

The Finn was running late this year and wrapped most of the last of her xmas gifts last week.
