Kimber Custom Match .22LR

How'd I do?

Just bought one in .22LR, one of 500 using "Buy Now" on gunbroker, no box or papers, has a Leupold VXIII 3.5-10 which I will probably flip.

$1 auction without a reserve. 2k buy now, which I couldn't click on quickly enough.

Gunbroker had a Yonkers Custom Classic last week, I bid up to $2700, final bid was over $3500.

This one is gunbroker #897354403.

Can't download the pics off the site.

Thanks gents.

If you are able to access the photos using the number I provided can you tell if it's an A, B or C model?

Finally found the listing. Really nice piece of wood on that rifle. It has the bolt release and safety that makes me think it is a late A or a B model- most probably a B... interesting with the matte finish but looks to be in very good condition... nice grab

Thanks Bob,

I have no idea what features denote an A, B or C.

Need to do some reading.

It is a B action. Note the step down at rear of bolt and handle swept slightly to rear.

Thanks for the info Hush.

After reading about the Custom Match in the sticky section, looks like the B model might be a rarity.

The Kimber scope rings look like they have been matt blued to match the finish on the rifle, Nice!

Good catch on the rings. I think Vertfish mentioned that the originals that came with the rifle had matching finish.

Besides the matte finish on the metal and the matching rings, the bolt stop, safety and mag release are checkered, the only 82's I'm aware of that came that way.
