Picked up my first Crosman Mark1

While looking on Ebay lasy week , I spotted really nice Crosman Mark1. This one was in such good condition that I bid on it with about 20 other people and won the bid . I was able to date the build to around 1974 . Many of these pistols are all chipped and dinged up not this one! Its real minty looking. There was no deal in place in the screw on charging cap so I got a new seal. I will charge the gun with a new co2 and check for leaks . I cant wait to try it out.

I picked up a MKI about a year ago, then had to have a MKII. Resealed both of them and they shoot great.

Thanks for the reply. Your Crosman pistols look great. I can see why you would want more than one .

I have one that I bought around '72-3. I still shoot it regularly, Only had to replace the o-ring (from Ace Hardware) on the cap. Quite accurate. Enjoy shooting your new acquisition!

First Crosman Mark I

I was one of those twenty people bidding against you. Great looking gun and I still don't have one. Maybe next time!

Great looking!

I have a few of these. Great guns.

Be aware that the stock trigger is excellent on the high power setting (2nd click of the cocking piece), but not so good on low power. Also, make sure that the front/rear nuts that secure the barrel are tight, or accuracy will suffer.
