Need a Pink 22/45 Lite

Want to get my wife a new gun and of course she likes/wants pink! The ruger website shows a bunch of colors, but no pink. There is a magenta color, but that is to purple. Does anyone know if anyway/anyplace to get a Ruger 22/45 lite in PINK?

Thanks

I've only ever seen one pink 22/45. I think it was a MKIII.

It didn't come from Ruger that way, but the gal that bought it LOVED pink. So she bought pink grips for it and sent it out to be cerekoted pink.

It looked surprisingly good, but man was it BRIGHT!

The closest I can see is a 22/45 with the muddy girl pink camo frame. You may try going to Ruger's website and suggesting it. There is a box where you can "Tel the CEO" anything you wish. I had suggested they make the LCR 3" in .22 long rifle. As luck would have it they did. Never hurts. The other option is to send the top end out for coating. The Cerakote pink looks good. I would suggest getting a color swatch sample direct from NIC Industries before you commit to a color. They look very different in photo form and it really helps to see the actual color in person first.

Thanks for the inputs, looks like Cerakote maybe the only option at this time, but I will try the "tell the CEO" idea, cant hurt!

Given the super fragile nature of the Lite's anodized finish, I'd recommend Cerakote as well. But I'm not seeing that as an option if you need to remove the barrel sleeve, which voids the warranty.

Glad my wife prefers purple.

It would be a pain but it is possible to mask off the internal areas that you don't want coated. I used to do professional cerakote for a rifle manufacturer. We would use high heat resistant tape for masking areas off. The tape is made by Shercon and comes in different widths. It is made to just leave on the gun and bake up to 300 degrees. Then you peel it off and discard. Here is a link to the product for reference: https://www.eis-inc.com/solder-maski...e/p-ph22-22-sh

Any recommendations on where to send the upper for cerakote coating?

1911CCW, I took your recommendation and wrote the Ruger CEO...here is what I got back: "I really appreciate your suggestions and the time you took to share your thoughts on Ruger products. I'll be sure to share your comments with our team. Best regards and thank you for shooting Ruger! Chris Killoy Ruger CEO"

Guess I will just have to wait and see if they make one.

My wife had the same request after I bought my MKIV 22/45 and she shot it! I got her the "magenta" one and she really likes it. It's sorta "hot pink"!

Ruger doesn't have a warranty. They just stand behind their products to protect their reputation, and to limit liability.

That said, a guy on another forum had his barrel liner fail:

Ruger charged him $30 to send it in, but they replaced the liner for free.
