Just checking to hear if there is anyone with some trigger time in on one of these rifles. I am too gun poor to buy one right now, but am still curious.
TIA, Jack

I've been waiting for HotRod9mm (Bob from DIP Products) to post some comments and pictures of his - Think his was about the first LA101 purchased after the Shot Show.

Plenty getting around down here in Aus now and the feed back has been generally positive.

I have two in 22LR - Had a build done on one and the other is stock apart from a touched up crown & trigger job. I have just over 7,000 rounds on these two. Overall function is faultless after a little fine tuning on the first one. The build will outshoot my 17XX Annies & Cooper 57M and the stock version is on a par with our finely tuned & bedded 1416.

Not pretty rifles by any stretch but the design & build quality are fine - Given basic maintenance, these rifles, like Lithgow's Model 12's , will last a life time.

I like the walnut stocked model, it is not available here in the states at this time. Suppose I could settle for the laminated. You are right, they are not much to look at for stock styling.

From Australia here, I have had this one for a couple of years and it has far exceeded my expectations. I like the look of the black stock.

It is left handed, sitting on a Harris 6-9 bipod and is fitted with a Burris E1 Fullfield 3-9x40 scope.

Everyone who shoots it absolutely love it, it shoots 10 hole lover leafs all day and takes out rabbits easily

Shoots alright too

Ive had one in 22lr for years...one from the first batch with serial number in the 700's.
It is a truely epic rifle, from the factory the trigger is way too heavy but I fitted a lighter trigger spring and although there is still creep in the trigger its much better than it was.
It groups exceptionally well to the point where its better than my experience with 1400 series Annies and CZ rifles.
Very well made, will last a lifetime....i mine was a 50th birthday present from my wife and for 2 years now I have owned it, its my favorite 22lr rifle Ive ever used.

Not sure who sells them in the US. They are compatible with the CZ 452 magazine, and Lithgow Arms produce a 5 shot and a 10 shot too.

Legacy Sports International is the importer here in the states. You will have to get your FFl to order one from them. They are the sole distributor at this time , as far as I know.

Gr8guns,

Sorry should have posted.

They are at 50 metres. Off a bipod with no rear rest.

22Plinkster just uploaded a video on YouTube today on his Lithgow 22LR. He claims its the most accurate 22 bolt action rifle he owns.

Maybe someone more talented than I can give us a link to his video.
