Really, this is over two years old folks....no longer an issue unless you choose to keep one after being told there is a problem and many did.

How do you know if you have a SST problem?

1. I have set the trigger and put the rifle on safe, then back to fire and no discharge.
2. Set the trigger and do the drop test, no fire.
3. Set the trigger and open the bolt, close the bolt set trigger again, no fire.

I have tried all possible situations with the set trigger and I am not exhibiting any unsafe behavior from the rifle. Does that mean this rifle is still under the recall and deemed unsafe? I have thought about selling it, but now I am not so sure.

Regards,

Mark

If y'er worried, call CZ and offer to trade 'em for the new 455 FlyWeight trigger.
Not me, I'm keeping my 455 set triggers.

Just for those who, like me, really liked the 455 set triggers,
they fit quite well on the older "A" model receivers.
I have no problem with the safety or unexpected trigger release.
Adjusted the primary pull to just over three pounds, the set at 6 ounces.

I swapped a Rifle Basix with a local shooter, for his 455 set trigger.
He uses his 455 solely as a bench rifle, mine does double duty,
at the range and for open field hunting.
Both of us feel we got the better end of the deal.

SST for 455

I note that this is an older thread and it all may be a dead issue.
I'm new to the CZ obsession. I am coming from an antique rifle/offhand and precision shooting background. I LIKE set triggers;one of my favorite hunting rifles is a Vore full stock 6.5x57 with DST. and I have a small collection of German and Swiss target rifles all with DST.
So naturally I'd like to upgrade my 455 full stocks with set triggers if possible.

Did they totally cancel their SST for the 455?
Are any available on a used part basis?
Are there any alternate after market SST available for the CZ-455 rifles?
