do you carry your concealed weapon at church?

and if so, would you continue to do so if they decided to prohibit the possession of "dangerous weapons"?

There's a reason it's called "concealed carry".

If your church is considering its options it may want to look into the groundwork already done by a number of churches with security planning and/or teams. There is a lot of info on what to consider and even outreaches for such online.
I find it troubling that 'soft targets' with 'gun free zones' tend to the targets of crazy/evil people, to disregard makes innocents into victims.
Might look into the book 'Sheep No More'.

I have, but rarely. I don't carry nearly enough. Usually, only when I'm traveling.

Yes !!

If your gun is concealed properly you are the only one that knows you are carrying.

My ministry happens to be Church Safety Team, and I'm in Texas, sooo... Kimber! and 10.5" PWS SBW within reach of my seat behind the console where I monitor the CCTV.

Yes - With Permission

Our state is one of the states with - Concealed Carry allowed only with permission from the church leadership. I was a member of the safety/security team for several years and thus for any church service and/or gathering I attended I was expected to carry. Many of the churches in our area have security teams or are in the process of implementing one.

I usually carry unless state laws and/or city ordinances specifically restrict . . . such as school property & sporting events. It's not worth the risk of potentially being arrested and losing the firearm. If it is not on my person, it would be properly stored in the vehicle I am using taking into consideration any other potential non-CCW passengers.

I don't imagine that someone wanting to harm people in a church (or anywhere else) would ask for permission to CC.

If I were a Pastor, I'd tell my congregation the more guns they bring, the merrier. Build a range out back and train people in handgun SD after services.
