Broke my favorite pistol!

Took my P-64 out today after 20 rounds it failed to eject and when it did they barely came out, it alway tossed the emptys about 30 ft before. Took the slide off and I see that the slide lock/ejector is broke off and missing! Did a search and haven't found any spare parts . Makes me sick, I got this gun last year from one of the big surplus dealers it looked to be unissued mag matched the gun serial # and it looked like it never had a round in it. Almost ordered a second one to shoot and leave the first one like new. But I buy guns to shoot not collect, so I fired about 200 rds since I got it, it has become my favorite handgun and now it's broke aaaahh! Will be making some calls hoping someone can point me in the right direction on parts, hate to have to turn it into a parts gun

Prolly not. There was some hot makov ammo floating around , made for sub machine guns that was causing problems. But not in your gun, in the Hungarian pa 63; which has an alloy frame . Your pa 64 is all steel and built like a tank. So hereís the question, who had apart and dropped it? Then put it back together and didnít say anything?

P 64

Since I got it no one has touched it but me and I didn't drop it the broken part looks like a clean break end almost looks like it is porest. All I know is I am sitting here looking at it all broken hearted:it is a cool looking gun and was fun to shoot!

Call Classic Firearms and see if they have a parts gun theyíll sell you on the cheap! If not buy the cheapest gun they have. eBay has a bunch of parts too! I canít believe Numrich is, out of stock on every single part!

What version is yours? Pre 71, pre 73 or post 73?

I put in the lighter hammer spring , and heavier recoil spring , and love mine too! Itís as close as Iím gonna get to a pre war PPK!

Good luck, donít despair, youíll get it going again!

I'm not familiar with the P-64, but an internet search hints that the manufacturer is Radom? Using that info and searching the best site I know of for hard to find parts yielded this part:

https://jack-first-gun-parts.myshopi...2e03ca25&_ss=r

Is this the part you need?

Looks like Numrich Arms has the parts you need.

Doesn't hurt to look at places like Midway, e-bay, Numrich, and so on because IF they have your part - you will usually get it cheaper than at Jack First. BUT, those places deal with readily available parts for the most part. Jack First has parts that nobody else has because they make them themselves when they become hard to find.

The only P-64 part that's not "Out of Stock" at Numrich is the trigger.
