CZ 455/452 22 LR Single Shot Adapter

I have one of these on order but would not be disinclined to purchase another same-function product, one NOT plastic. Talking about this item - https://www.etsy.com/transaction/167...aid=2cd2196b6f

Anyone have experience with this product and a 457 MTR? I'm particularly concerned about plastic shaving getting into the action, possibly fouling the trigger or other areas. Thanks.

Your link just goes to an etsy sign in. Maybe try to re-do it.

I have 2 single shot adapters, both plastic I have fired thousands of rounds through the rifles using them and see no sign of any wear on them. Certainly no shaving. Good luck with whatever you decide on.

I can't see the single shot adapter, but I have seen several for sale on ebay that look like they were homemade in a 3D printer.

Sorry, didn't realize I was logged into that site when I captured the link. Logged out and here is the outside link - https://www.etsy.com/listing/5134696..._click=1&col=1

I bought the cz one. Used it last week end. Not sure if I like the single shot process, too much time off the gun. Maybe Im doing it wrong?

I guess I should have said, both of mine are from CZ. I saw the 3D ones and wasn't impressed. I don't think you will be disappointed with the CZ product.

Mine is a cz plastic one and have used it for years. I'm inclined to say if you buy the knock of and it works won't you always wonder if the cz one was better. If you bought their rifle you havw faith in their products why not follow through. The use of a sled is a time consuming activirie ny intent allowing the barrel to cool for just a chance of extra accuracy.

Thanks for the heads-up, just ordered one of the CZ branded units. Should have looked there to start with.

I have both the CZ single shot adapter and the Brno steel single shot adapters. While I prefer the Brno one, the CZ one works fine for a fraction of the cost.

I've got a 3D printed one off eBay. Works great in my 457 MTR.

You can buy one of these inserts made by fellow RFC member rinardman, half the price and works on many different single column magazines.

Rinardman SSAs are Top Notch!

Terry is great and his SSA's work GREAT. Not cheap plastic either, industrial grade UHMW. You won't have pieces of that gumming up the works.

You can send him a private message from here https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forum...er.php?u=14649

Highly recommended.

I have the CZ one also. As for "too much time off the gun", I bought the item specifically to slow down the firing process. Just sayin'.
