Some one want to explain this chamber compared to a common 22lr chamber .Is it preferable ? I see Kreiger uses this on there CZ pre chambered barrels .

Standard chambers will shoot just about any type of .22 ammo. Bentz and Match chambers don't have that luxury. Here is a good starting point:

https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forum...ad.php?t=92365

The way I understand it, the bentz chamber works better with semi-autos and magazine fed bolt rifles. The match chambers usually have a single loading ramp and/or it is suggested to start feeding the ammo by hand. True match chambers usually don't work well with magazine fed rifles, it tends to shave the lead when cycling because of the tight chamber. There are many custom types of "Bentz" chamber reamers, and ammo specific/custom match chamber reamers as well. Use your google foo to research to your hearts content. For example, it has been said that most single shot modern Anschutz have match chambers, the repeaters with magazine are not true match chambers.

The typical sporting chamber is easy to live with if you dont demand more than average 'sporting' accuracy. The only matches you will be competitive in with be sporting matches in which you cant have custom barrels/chambers.
Sure, there are some exceptions, but if you are like me you will never get one...

It's a good starting point - but I would expect benchrest automatic gunsmiths would use either a custom reamer or a pair of 2-reamers to make a chamber with enough chamber mouth and body taper towards the back of the round for reliable cycling while still getting the bullet properly aligned with the rifling at the front of the chamber.
