I have probably 10-15 of the 77/22 in various combinations/calibers and I was thinking it would look nice to have one in mannlicher. All of my guns arebarrel clamp attachment, is anyone making one for the 2 screw barrel attachment?
If not, do you think the cut out would be the same for the 2 screw barrel attachment method and the threaded barrel setup?

.

I wouldn't be concerned about any stock inletting difference for the barrel clamp, since any alteration there would be hidden when the rifle is fully assembled.

There's no harm in asking - call the Ruger Parts Dept.

IIRC, there was once an RFC sponsor, who specialized & made mannlicher stocks for the 77/22, but it's been many years since I've noticed any evidence here that the stocks are still available.

Ruger makes beautiful Mannlicher stocks for the 10-22, the 11104 was exceptional. If Ruger put the 77/22 in one of those they would have a true winner.

Ruger already has, years ago - witness the Lipsey's Limited Edition special.

I believe Ruger also did a special run of these in SS recently for a distributor. Not sure which one?

Lipseys did them. The Stainless was in .22 LR, and the blue is in .22 Mag.

My favorite Rugers, Lipseys 22mag., MkII .243, and original .270. My brother borrowed my 10/22.
