You mean like this one? The installation was done by a local 'smith, following the instructions that came with the sight. He said he was surprised at the sturdiness & thickness of the tang metal, this being the first Henry he'd ever done. I bought the rifle on impulse just 'cuz it's so purty. But I no longer have it, having decided that I really didn't need it since I already had my dad's 1946 Marlin 39A and a first year Winchester 9422M, so I sold it to a friend & fellow club member who likes it very much. Oh, and I forgot to mention that the same smith did a great trigger job on it and it's a real shooter. IMO, the Marbles Tang sight is the obly way to go on a GB.

I put a Marbles tang sight on my H001T Frontier, process is the same, you'd just have to make sure you got the proper base for the Golden Boy (the angle of the stocks in relation to the receiver are different). I followed the directions that came with the sight and didn't have any issues. I just went slow, double checked everything 4 times before drilling and then checked one more time to make sure. On the Frontier I was able to use the existing tang hole for the rear screw so I only had to drill and tap one hole. If you've never drilled a precisely place hole in metal before you may consider having a smith do the installation, either that or practice a few times on a piece of aluminum to get a feel for it.

I installed one on my Frontier, there is nothing to it if you can drill and tap a hole.
