Can anyone tell me about the trigger adjustments on the mk1 ? Some state that the adustments are internal but are the same as the mk2 in terms of being ajusted in the low ounces 6-7 . I have also read that the triggers on the mk1 take hours to adjust as part of disassemble of the trigger to do this . Any input would be great .

They are pretty easy to adjust, you have to drop out the internals to adjust them, but other then that, there really is no difference from the mkII, by the way, my mkI is the very most accurate target rifle that I have, it beats my 1413 and 1813 anschutzes, winchester 52,s remington 37, brno #4 the gun is like a lazer and shoots great with just about any quality ammo.

I have looked at that link before without clarification on the mk1 other than some were sent back to the factory for the upgrade as on the mk2.

Does mk1 have the allen head screw adjustments or other adjustments ?

There are two places that show and tell which screw does what. It tells about the three screws and then goes on to tell about how the MKll had the adjustments moved to the outside. Just read and reread the text as it all runs together.
My MK l is set up for 50 yard iron sight matches. 200s are normal with Federal Gold match. My trigger is about as good as MK l get - 14 ounces. I can;t get my trigger scle to read my MK lll which is a BR gun.

Good morning, I am new to ownership of a Martini Marl I and have reviewed the info on adjusting the trigger pull and believe I understand how this is accomplished.
Can anyone tell me the size of the allen wrench needed, the clearance is slight and it appears I might need to cut down a wrench to make the adjustment.
Thank you for any information.
Gerald
