I'm looking for some articles or books on bettering my shooting. I'm not a hunter or competitive shooter (yet) but I want to be as accurate as my equipment will let me be. What do you guys reccomend for good reading? Anything goes, articles, websites, books, magazines, whatever. Any topic too, trigger controll to target aquisition or anything else that comes to mind. Thanks everybody!

Jake

This is an excellent site:

Also, get a subscription to Precision Shooting Magazine--worth every penny.

The Ultimate in Rifle Accuracy....

By Glenn Newick.

It deals mostly with CF benchrest. But it also has a bunch of good info for us RF guys. I 'bout wore my copy out. I've seen it at Walmart, bought my copy at Hastings. About 10.00 JL

That is a good one, ain't it JL. I bet I've read it 20 times, and learn something new every time.

I would like to second Forester's suggestion to get a subscription to Precision Shooting magazine. They most always have ad's for all the great books, in addition to cutting edge articles and advertisments from the best of the manufacturers of accurate rifles and all that goes with them. They can be reached at 860-645-8776. GG

Yep,
Especially the mirage/wind reading parts....Sometimes it takes two or three times reading the same parts to get it to sink in.......kinda like algebra, 'cept that never did. JL
