You have your priorities mixed up here. The car can wait. Walk. Get the 1377.

Here we all are over 40 (I'm 50) talking about the 1377 air pistol! You'd think others would think we're all a bunch of adolescents learning how to shoot with our first airgun!
Congrats on the present. The 1377 is one of the few "less expensive" pistols with results far outreaching it's cost.

Well, my 1377 has been a joy to shoot. But the bug has bitten again. I ordered a "1322" barrel for it. (1322 barrels are out of production, and I had to resort to a custom barrel) I am now thinking about a flat valve and piston. When will this madness end? I am getting too old for this.

I'm a little tweeked... what is the part number on your green pump handle? I ended up getting a black one. I would like a green one... The only part number I can come up with is
1389-010
and that got me black

Cost?

Here's some links to parts that I used.
Breech/bolt combo's,
http://www.rjmachineshop.com/
Wood,[try some Cialis:Just kiddin' ]
http://www.rbgrips.net/
Flat top valve and other stuff,
http://www.mountainaircustomairguns....ories_page.htm
Xtra cool stuff like bbl bands,
http://www.blueforkdesign.us/
You can spend alot on a 1377 [a $50-60 gun] and actually have someting nice that really performs.I use Williams notched click sights on my modded 1377 and the peep sight on my 1322 build.

There are others like Crooked Barn,Airgrips.com and so on.
Good Luck and have a safe and Merry Holiday!
