I have two screws for the FFT attachment, and one other big hex head screw.

But I see that there is threading where the butt stock lock plate is.
Where should I be using this larger bolt?

A bolt didn't come with my pistol grip from CAA, so I assumed this is where i should be using this. But wow it sure is tight!

Is this right?
Mine came with the 2 for the forend adapter and then a larger straight slot screw and hex head screw with similar threading. It also came with the torx screws to attach the top cover to the reciever and the nylon screws as well.

The straight slot is to attach the reciever to the stock, the hex head is for the pistol grip to stock.

The threading behind the lock plate is for the nylon screw to tighten/adjust the reciever in the stock.

I had to run a tap through all the threading in the stock before putting any bolts in, as it seems the coating they used got in the threads. I almost got the rear nylon screw stuck in the stock before I did this.

Here's mine...

I guess I'm the first that has undertaken this... or at least I haven't seen a pic of one yet.... A Charger.... in a Nordic Components. ** Correction, I see XDMoon's..... but he bought his, I built mine... **

The Charger is still stock, and I just had the scope laying around, but it's in Leupold rings... Hogue overmold grip and Carbine Length Free-Float forearm. TI mag.

It'll get taken out and played with, at least some trigger and bolt work, and possibly paint the stock in some form or fashion. I was just too impatient and had to see the combo together...

Any color suggestions? I'm thinking OD green and brown to go with the black rubber part of the forearm and p/g.

Grip gap filler

I have the Nordic Kit with an "Ergo" grip and want to find the piece that fits between the rear of the trigger guard and the front of the pistol grip. Can anyone tell me where to find one?

Here you go dude, just in time for Old Navy's $1 flip flop sale. Choose your color.

But in all seriousness, if you're looking for an AR grip %%%%er, I don't think it'll fit the Nordic gap. But hey, I might be wrong.

Is that handguard a take-off from an RRA rifle? Cool Nordic.

RRA handguard

Thanks... Actually I dont know.. This is my first build and just starting to get into the rifle scene. I saw it and liked it so I bought it.. It took me a few times but I finally started chuckling at your response... That was pretty funny once my brain kicked in.

It's fun. I just sold it a few weeks ago though. Don't have any other 10/22's right now and I have my GSG5 and Ceiner kit for my AR for plinking.

Callen,

How do you use your sights? I don't see how the front sight would function at all with the rear sight you have on there. You'd be aiming WAY high.

I want to do something similar with my Archangel kit but I have to get a detachable A2 frontsight to go on a gasblock or something in order to make the carryhandle rear sight functionable (- I don't want flip up sights). Recommend anything for me?

For those looking for that spacer to go between the AR-15 grip & the Ruger Trigger Gaurd may want to call Sturm Ruger & Order the factory piece for the SR-22 Ruger.. See Pic..
These Nordic Kits Look "So Good" That Ruger had to get involved..
I first saw them a while back at the "Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot" & Worlds Largest Military Gunshow in West Point KY & was Impressed..
