I was in Skip's Firearms in Bristol NH getting some .22 Long ammo when I saw something shiny in a case. A very pretty little revolver, 3 1/8 inch barrel, seven shot, very good original condition. Serial number shows it to be produced between 1860 and 1868. A little negotiation and it is mine, and a pretty little darling it is too. I have a couple of top break Smiths, this is my first tip-up model. It works perfectly, I just put seven rounds of CCI CBs through it. $11.50 for the .22 Long ammo, $550 for the revolver, not a bad day overall. The Long ammo is for a JM Marlin Ballard Number Three rifle I just bought, that one was made in 1875, a nice find at my FFL's place.

If you will PM me with an email I will get pics to you, you may then post. I haven't mastered the arcane art of posting on this site.

I didn't exactly steal it, price was OK I guess. Now I have to figure out what to sell to pay for it. The bills are catching up to me.
