Have a Savage A17 bolt- LOVE IT. Accurate, tolerant, and groups tightly.
Bought the Savage A17 semi, and three extra mags. All mags constantly jam rounds.
Rounds are tipped up and jammed between the lower bolt face and top front of the feed ramp.
Went out of state (I HATE MD) and got two 25 round mags. They are not rotary, more banana style with a rotary looking head. THEY FEED PERFECTLY!!! And the gun groups very well at 100 yards. Will be trying 150 & 200 shortly.

Any way I can fix the rotary mags???

Give Savage TS a call and explain to them your problem. They may have some ideas for you to try, but at the least will likely send you some new mags to replace the ones you are having problems with. Technical support: 1 (413) 568-7001

I love the Butler Creek mags for my A17, they function perfectly all the time and are much easier to load. I do wish Butler Creek would make a 10rnd mag because the 25's kinda stick way out there.
