S&P Outfitters will have 15 black and 5 in the white in less than a week.

I just picked up my KA receiver from S&P yesterday. Fit and finish are nice, only a couple of small spots to smooth out. Covered in some kind of nasty storage grease. Rubber mallet and heat gun required to install barrel. Trigger pin holes were slightly oversized, fit my "oversized" replacement pins from the parts stash. Serial #: 11XX.

Purchased a receiver from S&P. Didn't have to grind anything to fit a JWH Competitor or VQ bolt. Dimensions of the receiver walls aren't pretty but seem to be cosmetic in nature and once it's assembled it's invisible. Using Fedderson barrels it's a loose slip fit. Might tighten up the barrel fit depending on how it functions, if needed.

Mine wouldn’t run a Jwh bolt, tried 3 different ones , too tight, but would run an oem bolt. Put it in a carbine for now. Back to the drawing board

It looks like S&P is out of them again.

The guy I bought from on Gunbroker is also out of them.

Matt640h - Thanks for the post. I got one from them. Picked it up last week. Nicely made. Now I have to decide how to build it.

I think you will like it. I bought 10 over a year ago. The transferring dealer liked them so much, I traded one for the dealer fees. Friends of mine picked up a few from that dealer. I kept 6 for myself. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I liked them so much I had them nitride treated and I figured they would last me for a lifetime of builds. My wife likes the sporter I built so much that she wants one. Too bad Altamont quit making their Viceroy stock.

My MOA receivers cost over double what these cost.

I ran across some of these Kingston receivers at a local gun store. The store is Patriot Nation, and the price is $125.

For local Phoenix Arizona folks this seems to be a decent deal since it would include shipping and dealer fee.

These aren’t mine since all of mine I had nitride treated and I’m keeping them all. There were some that were parkerized and some were in the white.
