Finally got a suhl 150

Purchased a suhl 150 the other day cant wait for it to arrive. Will post some picks when i get it.. Paid $1000 for it with a 36 power scope. Will be reading through the threads here so i can pick up some good information

Spend some time, if you haven't already, reading through the stickies and some of the past threads here for more information. You may or may not know that the rate of twist changed over time. Many folks prefer the faster rate of twist - about 16.5/inch if I recall correctly, of the earlier models. These guns have fantastic factory triggers, and some can shoot very, very well.

Some folks have also had issues with head space - I did with mine - and there is some good information concerning that.

Congratulations on buying one of the most accurate factory rifles ever made,. Sounds like you did well on the price also. If you get the chance, try the rifle with the aperture sights. You'll be surprised how close to scoped size groups you can shoot with the irons.....

I agree on the accuracy of peep sights. I have two 37's that I have shot with peep sights and they will shoot lights out.
