Gotta love Craigs List. I bought a boat motor at the flea market for $130 and put it on CL looking for trades and this is what I got. Came with case, 2 scopes, 2 sets of rings, holster, and about 80 rounds of JHP ammo.

Think the guy that got the motor knew how bad he got robbed?

I see the photo scope is a Daly. IIRC, they were Japanese. What's the second one?

I hope you had the local LEO run the serial number. Hate to be the recipient of someone else' sorrow. I've been on the sorrow end. It sucks.

It was just a ceapo red dot but he just kept adding accessories. In all honestly the motor was "worth" $400 or so but even at that I am very, very happy.

That was a major score, Super Redhawks are built like tanks. For a 'hunnid 'n thutty', I'd jump too.

But did the OP have the police check the serial number on the motor to see if it was stolen?

It was a great deal, but what were those pistols selling for when they first came out? I bought a Ruger Redhawk 44mag SS back in 1989 for around $350, and that was new from a dealer

Didn't have motor checked but did and do have my nephew check my guns for me. Plus I always collect the sellers info when buying used just to CMA.
1990 model gun. Shoots great but I'm not big on the scope so it may be coming off.

THAT IS A STEAL!!!!! If you need a new home for the scope, My neos needs one since I put the scope from that on my mk3. I wish I could get something like that in a trade!! That is awesome!!! Once I got a 9mm Hi Point carbine and 100 rounds plush 300 bucks for an old gas powered 4 wheeler for the kids they outgrew. That was a fun little gun, but it wasn't worth anything...

On any local private sale, I create a bill of sale that has a picture of the seller's driver's license photocopied on it, signed and dated by the seller. If the seller is unwilling to accept this procedure, no sale. I do the same with musical instruments, or anything with a serial #. This may seem excessive but I have been offered stolen goods in the long distant past.
