It's a Davidson's special, but one of the 4 5/8" Bisleys after swapping parts with Ketchum Quick and a little fitting.

NICE GUNS! I want one. How do I decide? 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 inch barrel? Blued or stainless? Fixed or adjustable sights? Thats a lot of decisions to make. I want 22lr / 22mag for sure. Used for backyard plinking and fun target shooting.

All of mine have fixed sights as I like that style and for what it's worth, I'm just plinking with them. The point of impact is very close to the point of aim at 20 to 25 yards with both my 5.5" and 6.5"... it's been a good while since I shot paper with one of the 4 5/8" pistols, but I don't remember either of them being off much at that range. As far as the barrel length, I really like the 5.5", but the 6.5" is growing on me.

Stainless or blued... I really like the look of blued, but I usually choose stainless pistols as they are easier to care for.

Since you want to do some target shooting, the adjustable sights will come in handy.

I wanted the 4 5/8" but I going to keep mine 5.5" for now. I noticed the latest specials have the warning on the bottom of the barrel that was a nice touch.

My 76 model and 9.5" New Models. Can't show you my "Old Model" as she is way to sexy for this forum. Maybe I should say I have no pics yet! The grips are cool but the original walnut grips are better and are going back on. Old pics, sorry. [IMG][/IMG]

My first revolver that I bought is a stainless Single Six in 1981, can't even guess how many rounds have been shot in it, it shoots as good know as it ever has.
I even bought another one a year or so ago that was on sale at BassPro

"y" = yards

I thought it was 15 yards before actually. I lasered it last week and it turned out to be a standing, two hand shot at 19.5 yards. Not a phenomenal shot but I'm sorta proud I did it on demand while standing off of a rock wall on uneven ground.
