What ? These ?

Sorry , they’re not going anywhere. .
They’re promised to my two granddaughters .

Suddenly I identify as one of your granddaughters.

They are lucky girls!

Serial numbers in the 32K range already, Ruger is making Wranglers.
That's great.
They weren't announced until April this year

Now about that Wrangler, how is the loading gate 'issue' we hear about? Im hoping the newer ones get improved.
I have two Wranglers, both had unacceptably stiff loading gates. Instead of dealing with Ruger's repair people, I sprayed some Ballistol in there and worked the gate a few hundred times over the weekend. Smoothed out and works fine now.

I failed to follow up on my Wrangler range visit .
I was kinda disappointed in the fact that it shoot about 2” to the left on target , but I could hit a 10oz soda can at about 15-20 feet nearly every time.
I only put about 100 rounds through it before my thumb got tired of opening the loading gate .

Well, got to handle, fondle and inspect my brother in law's new black Wrangler today. For under $200.00, I think it is an amazing value. Could it be improved? You bet, and if it were It mine, it would be, starting with a nice set of wood grips. But for him it is just about perfect: light, handy and accurate enough to shoot rats in the barn. I told him to get a box of cheap s.v. ammo and blast it through, dissassemble, clean and lubricate it and I bet a bunch of the initial "stiffness" goes away; it is not that bad anyway, just "newness", in my opinion. Time will tell, but I think River has a success on their hands. Is a Single Six better? Of course it is. But for a lot of folks, like my BIL, the Wrangler will do just fine.
