Chaser, I don`t see where anyone asked for the Sako rings. If not, I can use them. Wayne

If you have any M77 rings left, I could use a set, especially if they’re med or better yet- tall.

DrGunner
what caliber M77 did you get?

the rings Chaser sent me worked perfectly on my NIB (except for the rings, and the little red bag that the rings used to come in) 7MM Mauser

I have an older (tang safety) M77 in 7mm Remington Magnum. I inherited it from an uncle who bought it new, it was his mule deer and elk rifle for where he lived in northwest Montana. Based on the serial number, mine was built in 1978-79. Bluing on those older production Rugers was amazing. It is a sleek, sexy receiver. My buddy & I looked at it next to his Weatherby and the machining & bluing on my old M77 looks every bit as nice.

That rifle has a KICK, and a SHRILL report- but not as shrill as my buddy’s 300 Weatherby Mag.

7mm Rem Mag = 20 lbs of recoil
300 Win Mag = 26 lbs.
