Any of you old, err, experienced, SS guys use it on your rf's 10-12 yrs or so ago? How'd it hold up? Still using it? If memory serves Vincent used it on one.
I only used it on 4 cf's and a muzzleloader with good/great results but I have a lot of winter yet and thinking about using my old carefully hoarded stash on my rf's.

For those not in the know its not a powder coating but rather this- https://shootersolutions.com/molyfusion1.html

Last day over 50˚ until Mar or Apr and easily gusting 25mph. The previous two 76mi. round trips to camp and gravel pit were a bust so this was it or go home.

Plastic/cardboard R. candidate backer on a stuck in the ground wire stand was flipping so half of my misses were me and the rest the wind....mostly, sorta.
Shot Nov. 9, 2020 with half Eley black box and the other half R50. Oops, skipped one bull after I shot a sighter.
No scoring as this was purely for end of the year frustrating pleasure shot off a $10 portable workbench with a wobbly milk crate with a cushion for a seat. This is as much shooting as my spine permits.
The CZ 457 AT-ONE 22rf shoots better than the MF treated CZ 452 UL, under better conditions, thus the switcheroo. It is my numero uno tree rat whacker taking the last 50+ in a row with no extra shots required last winter.

Did you say -8°F ?
:bthumb:
It got colder than that this winter. Final tree rat tally ceased fire @ 43, due to raccoons coming out of hibernation and hitting everyone's tweety feeders.
Its been a below average cold winter with too much cooped up time in my Yooper brick igloo.

Freezing rain/sleet/some snow has slowed down normal city activity today, schools closed etc.. Its local break a hip day for ortho docs. I'm serious!
