RFC is such a "bad" influence on me acquiring more. Most of the posts are going for two and some with good reason.

Was thinking along the lines of identical twins. A person can do so many things with a 10/22 that few people really have identical twins in those.

The current burning the desire is I have been shooting my Henry H001 and it's fun! Then suddenly the LGS has another one for $20 less than what I paid.

multiples are good

I got four different 10/22s and 9 Nylon 66 models. More is better, works for me.

Just about any lever action 22, just about any pump 22, any Smith and Wesson 22 pistol, any Browning 22 pistol or rifle and believe it or not a Kel Tec P17 22 pistol. I haven’t found a second one yet, but for the money, that is a sweet little pistol! Oh yes, and the Ruger 10/22.

Great example and the price could make the second one unaffordable later.

I have 5, I think the iconic high quality .22s are worthy of owning multiple.

Why limit yourself to twins? Why not sextuplets?

Although most of my duplicates are fraternal , not identical, i do have some identicals As to why, I can only respond with the most salient response of. “ Why Not”

I have a few of the exact same I bought when my kids were little and I wanted to teach them both at the same time. Then later on when they grew into bigger ones.

There's others that I just think are worth having because someday I can be sure to give one of each to each of them

Monogamy, is often boring But required by law

On the other hand , there is no good reason not to have two or more of the same gun.

I am at this very moment contemplating buying anothe Savage 93 in 22 magnum, identical to one i bought a month ago, just cause i can get it at a great price.

Quite simply if my wife likes it, it is hers and I have to buy another one for myself. I have ended up with several doubles.
