Here's the rest of the Target. It hurts, but I'm going to have score that questioned shot a 9 instead of a 10 because this guy says: "Whiskers don't count! You missed!"
Nice shooting Squirrelback !
If I get around to it tomorrow while I'm at the range I'll try and shoot a card for entry this month , but I've got a 22 WMR to sight in and two new non-CZ's to break in .
Hey Squirrel, I've got a new toy in .17 Mach 2 I'll be putting together next week . Going to be my late season squirrel getter . If I can I'm going to try to get someone to make me a 455 CZ barrel in M2 . Kirby
Earl won't let me get away with anything! The squirrels always make me be honest. Whenever I try to cheat they just run away like lightning through the trees.

Kirby: 17M2 has always intrigued me as a round that could increase my squirrel range. But I've never shot one. Most of the time I can't see a squirrel much farther than 50 yards anyway, but that changed this Spring when I got to see a few squirrels in the fields beside the woods. Those provided longer shots.
Some of the guys on the RFC Hunting forum really like the Mach2 as a squirrel getter. And there are some good squirrel hunters among them. Look around the Hunting section here and they could tell you more about how it works for squirrel hunting. I'm a little put off by the availablity and price of ammo, so I never got into it.

Great target Squirrelbark...... Hey, I was up in Sherwood, Arkansas last weekend for my oldest grand-daughters wedding shower. You anywhere near Sherwood?
Both my daughter and son-in-law were stationed at Little Rock AFB and when they retired they liked the area so much they made their home there.
Shot a 218-2x tonight , things are improving. Got the range set up a little better and brought the front rest into play, still not setting the world on fire but it made me happy!
Tomcat my grandmother and grandfather and Aunt all lived in Little Rock so I've had some relatives in Little Rock. I grew up in Texarkana but I live in Paragould now.
Tater chip, the green monster is a good teacher. you will improve quickly. Try taking a couple of breaths and then let it out. and when you are on the Bullseye, let it fly. Try different holds on gun.

Taterchip, baby steps at first, learn how to better use your front rest (I'm still learning). Take heed of any advice from fellows such as Squirrelbark, Midwest Swiss,
cznut, Danny Creasy etc. Well done on today's target.......
Thank you squirrelbark. Will do, I think I might break 225 this month, getting the hang of the front rest. Seat height to the bench seems critical, tomorrow is another day!

Seat height is a factor for sure. I had to buy a stepstool to add to my shooting table seat to get me high enough to shoot over my porch rail. Mine is a true Hicksville set-up, but it beats driving 25 miles to go to a public range where the dude on your right is firing a .500 S&W and the dude on your left is raining AK brass all over you

Keep thinking that way and you soon will be KING of the hill.
Oh about that seat you can spend another 2-4 Hundred $ getting that right for you.
Yea what Squirrelbark said.
