I haven't named her yet, still some tinkering to go....
Kidd classic action, bolt, little goodies, two stage 8oz/8oz trigger, fedderson 16 1/4 polished/threaded barrel, trijicon 3-9 accupoint with leupold qrw rings, silencerco sparrow ss. I have another stock I will put it in after i refinish and pillar/bed it.

Said new stock

I kinda like "storm" for the name?

Good looking rifle iron85. The "said" stock is a real beauty. I have a weak spot in my heart for the old Walnut Carbine stocks with character. That one is awesome! I'd like to see a pic of Storm all decked out with the suppressor on it. Ugly?? no way

Nice build, I like it.

The pirates here though, they will be calling for pics of groups here shortly.

So, is the barrel band actually putting tension on the barrel, or have you relieved it on the inside so the barrel is floating underneath the band?

Hopefully I can get the other stock finished soon and pictures of it all put together.

Yes I know I need to get some pictures of groups too

Barrel band has been relieved so it's just for looks. I have a few of the nice looking stocks

I just do not see Ugly when I look at the rifle with or w/o the suppressor. Nice looking rifle either way and very much a SuperStock I hope your Fedderson barrel shoots better than mine does. Mine will not shoot as well as my GMHT barrels.

It is a rough cut fullstock that I really think would be jaw dropping if finished. I think there is some amazing beauty to be found with a little sand paper. Sadly I over paid and lost interest because the previous owner did some terrible Inletting work with a dremel(it wasn't mentioned in the ad). I have no doubt that it could be fixed with bedding by someone with more skill than myself. I keep telling myself that I will sell it but haven't ever gotten around to it.

I agree Vincent. I will say I cheated a bit with the all the aftermarket parts as opposed to all of the do-it-yourself, but I have done a lot of tinkering with this one over the years. I guess to myself a superstock is a sporter that you would take hunting. That little rifle has cover many a mile with me and is just fantastic. I built it specifically to match a cz or anschutz in accuracy but have the advantage of being a semi. It comes pretty close with accuracy! I'm hoping the pillars and bedding closes the gap.
