The gap is much tighter on the wood than the plastic, which is why I decided to do the wood in the first place. Didn't like the gaps of the plastic and how poorly it lined up.
As for price, how about $60 shipping included? sound fair?

I would like one too. Where do I send the money? This is quite an upgrade.

Great Work! WOW!

I would love one of these! Where do I send the money? Do you have any older Walnut stocks? If so, how much?

Well, when I started this thread I thouht maybe 1 or 2 people might be interested. My list stands today at more than 2 dozen. Wow... Anyway the first three are ready to go out tomorrow and thanks to everyone for the big response. I've pm'd the first three and as long as they're checks show up the current supply of wood is gone. If we can find a source of carbine stocks, I'll be glad to do more. Really amazing response, thanks to all.

I could send you a stock (possibly two) - what would be the cost to convert one sent to you?

Love the wood stock on the Takedown!

Would like to know if there is any effect on accuracy by substituting the wood stock. The wood-stocked carbine is generally thought to be good for 1-2 " groups at 50 yds. Three reviews have the plastic-stocked Takedown shooting about .6" at 50 with some cheaper ammo. Maybe some of you folks getting the wood stocks could do before and after tests.

I'd be interested in wood furniture that already has some sling swivels in it. Would be all over that for $60 or even a little more. Let me know if we can work something out.
