Well, a true Scout rifle is a centerfire gun. http://www.scoutrifle.org/index.php?topic=971.0

A 10/22 "Scout" is still a rimfire rifle and if one is to believe the description over at the same forum in the previous link, then a rimfire Scout would be considered a sub-caliber Scout or a Cub Scout. http://www.scoutrifle.org/index.php?...gv7&board=68.0

Pappy, The rifle is a 10/22, modeled after the M1A/SOCOM Scout, hence, "scout .22".
I'd appreciate if this lived in the 10/22 section, maybe tactical 10/22, as I feel it'd be more relevant there for other members' reference. Can we change thread title to "10/22 Scout Rifle", maybe?

Check with OldWolf, as he is the centerfire Mod.

I put the thread there, but cannot bring it back.

Good luck!

I had to cut the rearmost portion of the rail to mount the Tech Sights. There are 4 bolts that thread into the receiver, mine only has two now, and has been sold for years.

If you're referring to sight picture, yes, the TS sit plenty high to see over the rail.
