Perfect set of twins. Now you just need to find time to shoot them. Where did you ever find a Hornet?

That’s a pair that anyone should be proud to own.

Being bored then going to GB has gotten me into trouble before. Infact that may have been where l contracted “CZ-itis”.

Wonderdog1 sir I know exactly how I got mine and it's called "Jeff Miller" he is the one who talked me into my very first rifle a 452 FS in 22 Mag and I have been infected ever since.

Here is what it looked like right after I got it:

today it has a better fitting scope on top...it's the one in the middle between a 455 in front and another 452 in 17hmr in back:

Thank you...Jeff you enabler you

Just to let you guys know that I also have a 550 FS in 308 for my large game rifle...bandit1250 is right I need to find time to shoot my rifles...the 308 is still NIB. I was so lucky to get one with that style of pistol grip...it's just like my 452

I went to GB and didn't that many unless you are counting the rim fire rifles, in fact I think that of the 2 that one shop had that is in Paris Ky he onl has one left. I guess someone ordered one. The darn thing may wind up on here with pictures, just saying. Thats my story and you can't get anymore out of me.

Hey Whtsmoke sir if it happens to show up in Missouri...will I have a clue to who bought one ?? Trust me once you wrap your hands around that rifle...you will know you made it to heaven. just saying. I love mine and basically that is all I look for these days are FS rifles.

Just like Sgt Shultz "I Know Nothing" So I will not ask. But if you did happen to get something shipped to you by accident...you poor man smiling all day long and dancing on the way back from the first range trip and beaming when coming out of the field. I think I will know what happened. Just don't let the wife see you smile too much...she might want one too.

FS are very special no matter what model you get (452/455/527/550)...the 550 FS they came with two different style of stocks with different pistol grips on them and I got so lucky to get the style I wanted...back then and still today I would not care if it was a piece of driftwood...I got the one I wanted...it is a plain as a 2x4 but it's all mine.

Everybody knows wood grain does not make a rifle shoot any better it just makes you feel better...my 550 FS is fantastic in my hands and when I do pick it up and handle it and close my eyes...(maybe TMI) but it's one of the finest rifles I own. So if by chance you do find one...one of these days take the time to enjoy it.

Have you shot either yet?

I've been shooting both my 527 American and FS 22 hornets a lot lately. They both shoot pretty much the same. The 1:16 twist only really allows for light and short bullets for accuracy. What twists are your 222 527s?

One issue I have with the FS is the %%%% barrel heats up and never cools off. She's meant for the woods not the bench.

ChangFest sir to be honest I don't have the time right now with the wife's heath issues, adoption a 10 year old little girl, sending my two daughters off to college and the stinking thing called work that keeps me hopping these days. I have to plan and schedule a trip out to the garage....just to see my guns I am working on it.

I just got a PM from a member here who might have found one of the hidden gems in the pile. I am talking about a 527 FS in 222...time will tell. I hope so if he did he is one lucky man.

You mentioned "Big Game"...this FS is for Big Game...

When I bought it (for a ridiculously low price I might add) my wife asked me why?
I've got no idea but I figure for Black Bear it would be at least adequate...

VERY Nice! That looks like an earlier model (pre 2006-ish). Looks like it has the blued forend cap, higher level of polishing prior to bluing, more curved trigger, and the nice rubber recoil pad, correct?
