I was having issues with the bolt not closing or fully opening. Tore the rifle down looking for anything impinging on the bolt.

Turns out the tip of the bolt handle set screw had broken off. That lil piece of trash in the back of the bolt assembly was the issue. Cleaned it out, lubed it up and reassembled the rifle. All is good now

Thank you Al.

It was frustrating to say the least. It would behave, then it would fail. Last time out it was just bad. Came back in and just set it in the safe and walked away. I had to pull it out of the safe to rework a shelf because I added a Golden Rod and lights. Figured it was a good time to give it a hard look. Pulled the rear cap off and looked in the rear of the bolt. Something just didn't look right, removed the bolt handle and tapped the back of the bolt on the bench. I heard something hit the bench. Couldn't find it, but it was not in the bolt assembly. Looked at the set screw and it was very apparent the tip had sheared off.
