I have one in the "American" but I won't be of much help since I have not shot it yet and may not for a while. Looks great though, should make a good calling rifle. Ballistic info can be found on saubier.com forums.

No CZ here, but my Rem700/Pac-Nor custom 204 is a hoot! VERY explosive on the little critters, and makes a distinctive TWAACK!, as opposed to the Thwaaap of "standard" varminters. And some facatory 204's are showing very good accuracy, at least with the 32 grainers, while most people are having less accuracy with the 40 grainers.
I think you'll really enjoy yours. Good luck, and let us know your results -- and if you're into handloading, check out the GGVG and Saubier sites.

LoneStar,
Sorry I'm so late posting this. My .204 in the Ruger MKII Model 77 "Varmint Version" is a holy terror.
I've put about 900 rounds thru it so far and am totally happy with it. It's topped with a Bushnell Elite 4200 8X32-40.
Been working up a good reload for it and have arrived at 37.0 gr of BenchMark powder behind the 32gr'er. This loads running about 3900fps and is accurate. Shot a 10 shot group last week that measured 15/16" @ 218yds. It's nothing to shoot the brass on a 12ga. shotgun shell at 200M 8 out 10 times. I've shot it out to 400yds and that little bullet is still hanging in there with a lot of punch.
I think you'll really like the caliber... Bill
