Hey, nice job on the stock. I really like how you did the butt of the stock. Adding the walnut and rubber pad is a nice looking way to do it.Your rifle looks sharp and well thought out.
Yeah, it sure fits in here as a Super Sport Heavy.

I have seen several stocks that added wood to get rid of the butt plate cut out but all were straight lines and looked kind of funny . The way you did yours with the arc certainly is more attractive. Great idea and execution. Will not be surprised to see others do it that way now.

This is a perfect example of SuperSport/SuperStock/SSB people coming up with ideas that are original and different

butt plate

Vincent,
Thanks for the comment. I've seen some stock builds where they chopped of the butt plate and left that top end in the wood. To me, that doesn't look wright.
This stock is about 14 and 1/2 inch pull. The carbine stock is about 13 and 1/2.
I was going to get one of those rubber butt pads to add the length, but everywhere I looked , they were sold out. This turned out better anyway.
