Have a Tac-13 sitting at the LGS, I will pick up in an hour or so. Anyone here own one or have advice or tips? Going to take it to the range and pattern it with some #6 to see what it does.

Shoots very well, little recoil with #6 shot. No malfunctions of any sort (other than user error) went through 75 shells before it became too cold.

(L) Tac-13 next to a Tac-14 (R).

How's the recoil compared to the TAC-14, using the same loads? Being gas operated I would imagine it would be somewhat less. I have a Mossberg Shockwave that functions well but I'm just not warming up to the birdshead style Raptor grip.

These are the perfect guns to SBS with an approved form 1. E-file form 1's are coming back in 30ish days, often less.

Recoil is very slight with all but three inch loads.
