Older Lapua Midas M & Dynamit Nobel R50

I recently acquired 3 bricks of Lapua Midas M and 3 bricks of Dynamit Nobel RWS R50 .22LR ammo. I think this ammo is 10 years or so old and properly stored as far as I can tell. The Lapua is sealed in plastic of two 50 round boxes together.

The lube has dried to a powder as pictured. Very easily wiped off. My question is, should the dried lube be wiped off or left alone? The R50 shows less of dried lube than the Lapua. Just curious, what would you do?

It's awful. I'll PM you my address and you should send it all to me. Can't be shot... really!

Honestly, Just leave it alone. Shot some of both of these recently out of a Finnbiathlon. Both shot fantastically. (plus a number of other higher end but older boxes of ammo)
Cleaning was no more difficult than normal.

I think the R50 was one hole @25M. Being dried out didn't hurt it at all.

Midas was 1hole plus fat-fingerered flyer due to the loose nut behind the wheel...

Let's see if this works per the Technical support forum: 25M target with a bunch of 10-20yr old match ammo including R50, midas, etc

edit: oh apologies. shot Signum and master M of that age, not midas. Same deal/age though.

Got a bunch of the Fuzzy Signum from E.A. Brown when they were cleaning it out for around 3.50 a box thought it was a deal, Thought I got burned when I opened the first box of fuzzies. But after shooting a box I was happy with the ugly fuzzies.
