Vert...I have 150 pesos from my last Cancun trip that I am willing to contribute to a GoFundVertFish site for your trip to Cabo. If we get enough support from members, you can buy the UnCub.

Florence, Oregon always needs more tourist dollars; pesos, too! Bring the UnCub and be my guest at the Siuslaw Rod and Gun Club

Wish I could afford that Super C of Verts. No chance anymore with all of the medical stuff taking our pesos. B actioned, C stocked, killer combination. Awfully nice rifle to let go of, couldn't do it myself.

Bring lots of Indiana $$$ and the Oregon Coast awaits you with welcome arms. KimberKoOk host services, including range time at the Siuslaw Rod and Gun Club, are free if you buy me dinner at the Waterfront Depot. I like their crab encrusted halibut. You may be disappointed at my "stash" however. Sage has most of it.

The cub is back up on GB...what was the price set on GI?? Makes ya wonder about the gap in time. I love this place, when I first saw it & being unfamiliar with the cub I found the GI link & asked the seller what the price was & if he could share how it came back up for sale with no reply. I then found this & figured I would just see what price it would bring.

Anyway, thought those interested in & hadn't seen it back up would appreciate it

Closed/sold at $2325. I don’t recognize any of the bidders so I’m thinking that they didn’t avail themselves of the amazing wealth of knowledge about their new purchase contained in this thread.

I have to admit that I was chuckling when I saw that special order beauty back up for auction. You may be shocked to hear that I'm still firmly in the NFW (No Friggin' Way) camp on that one.

So did he get more $$$$ vs the original listing on GI?? All I see was SOLD. I for sure knew something smelled when I got no reply to my inquiry.

I really appreciate all the efforts to the members taking the time to share their knowledge...the thread on the custom match with so much detailed 411 was outstanding & really never knew what I had or the history of the earlier ones. Now I know what to look for on a cub if a hen ever loses it's teeth.

Guns like this are interesting mysteries. Experts don't think its the real deal. I mostly agree with the experts so I stay out of trouble when buying guns. This one although not the real thing is a sweet looking rifle and most likely could not be built for what it sold for. So did the buyer get taken for a ride or did he get a custom rifle at a very good price?
