Greetings, new member here. I have a 39A circa 1958, I want to mount a Weaver Classic Rimfire Rifle Scope - 2.5-7x28mm on it using the original Marlin rail. Any advice about what ring height to use?
If you have a hammer spur you can probably get by with medium, if not you'll need tall. It also depends on where the scope bell ends up. Some scopes are bulky in the rear and some not. Eye relief also a factor.
