Ring height, CZ455 w/ DIP 25 MOA Rail

I've got a CZ455 Tacticool with a 25 MOA DIP rail on it. I ordered a Diamondback Tactical 4-12x40 that arrives tomorrow and I haven't ordered rings yet. I've decided on the Warne Maxima rings but need to know what height would be best. I want to maintain the lowest height but still allow the possible use of flip caps.

So should I order low or medium?

Sir wait until you get your scope and then lay it out and then you will know what height you need. Are there any big guns shops around that carry Warne rings...if so go and buy a pair from them and have them mount and bore sight your rifle...they have plenty of rings hanging on the wall to play with. It might cost you a few more dollars but you will be done today...and not wait a few days to get the wrong height and have to reorder...just a suggestion.

I have a box full of rings that were too high for my liking or just a hair too short...for objective or bolt clearance on my CZ rifles. It does not pay to send rings back and wait for less of a credit with restocking fees and your shipping cost to send them.

Good luck on your quest

Exactly what he said!
My LGS is usually about 10% more expensive than ordering BUT I get a setup that I am happy with.
