Are you all really complaining about it before it's even out? Lol

I promise my freedom arms 97 is at least 4lbs and it is definitely a field gun.

A four pound rimfire pistol would be a hard sell for me.

NOT hate - logic. I can't see the use of a 4 lb. handgun in the Field either. My Field Gun is half that and I only carry it when I think I might use it.

I do not consider myself to be a hater of people or things. I am a consumer. I look for reasons to buy things and I am a proud Scorpion owner. Having said that, the Scorpion has always been marketed as the ultimate lightweight target pistol so I was a little surprised to see how portly it is. Having said that, I am starting to wonder if the initial notice had a misprint in it since the new Ruger Mark IV Hunter is 44 oz. in stainless steel. I wonder if 4 lb. 2 oz. should have been 42 oz.
