This is my E. Arthur Brown 97D falling block .17 hmr. I purchased it about 6 years ago. The cost has skyrocketed since then. I have a Hawke side focus varmint scope 4-12X (no longer sold). This rifle is super accurate. A YouTube video shows baby aspirin shot at 50 yds. Not that I could do that. The Barrel is a little longer than usual, due to the short action. So - it logs velocities about 100 fps higher than advertised.

little badger

Chiappa Little Badger in 17HMR. With the short barrel and flexing stock it couldn't hit the broad side of a barn, but it is so compact and fun to use, is my favorite gun.

Do you like the ISSC system? I have look at a 17 ISSC in my local stores but not had an opportunity to shoot one. I was concerned about long term wear and tear. And general handling etc,. Your thoughts would be appreciated

My 93R17 TR with some 50y groups (usually shoot at 100, 50 was all I had this day) hadn't shot in about a month before shooting these groups. Guns loves the rounds with the 17 he TNT bullet. Sub moa most of the time. Now has a Primary Arms 4x14x44 R Grid mil reticle on it. Until I get an Athlon Argos BTR. For it. Had a cheap 6x24x50 mil dot scope on it for the pic, great back up scope.
