Noob here. I've been lurking for a short while since acquiring my TD. Just starting with a few basic mods (Kidd single stage trigger installed and Kidd bolt, guide rod and charging handle are on deck). I will likely mount a scope soon, but questions will come first.

You guys have first rate info here - thanks in advance.

That looks really nice! I think the barrel mounted rail should remove any issues that would come up with removing/re-installing the barrel all the time!

Yep I agree. I've been very happy with it so far. I still need to take the rmr off and try a scope just to see how it will do.

10/22 TD is my first 10/22

All my friends have said at one time or another you should try a 10/22. I still have my first nice new 22 that I got in the late '70's. It did me alright so why get another? When Ruger came out with the 10/22 TD it forced me into making a move. So I jumped. In it's basic form it is a graceful looking rifle. Like many I could not leave it alone. I youstacould get a one hole group once in blue moon. It was the rarity. Now it is the norm. I expect it now and get displeased with myself when it doesn't happen. You folks have so many beautiful rifles! Mine is more average looking. I wish I could share it with you but I can not master the photo post thing.
I have learned a lot from "Youall"!

Just got my 10/22 Takedown SBR stamp back. Also have a Charger Takedown to go with it. Put both into AGP Arms stocks with optional handguards.
