Just got back from GS in St.Charles,Mo. There were alot of people there but was mostly older collectables and military weapons. A fair share new guns, didn't seem to be alot of rimfires but I did manage to find something that I wasn't really looking for but once I saw it couldn't pass it up.
S&W model 34 kit gun:

Can't wait to shoot it.

That's a nice early one, love the flat latch and diamond grips.
I have one of the last ones made, a 34-2 from 1989.Mine's a round butt, wearing checkered Spegels......still unfired.

Flat latch and diamond grips, real nice. You sure don't find them like that anymore, it would have come home with me too.

Very nice, and an old flat latch too.
Most of those seemed to come with square butt grips.
I like it.

I only got around to firing it's cousin for the first time, a 1975 Model 63,last year!

Nice little revolver in good shape. I was eyeing up a nickel M34 (22) a few years back, but the dealer really wanted a lot of money for it at the time. But in hindsight, it probably would have been an "okay" purchase since it had the box and paper work.

You pay for those M34 snubbies in 22. Hope you enjoy it.
