More BL-22 trigger info

I have been reluctant to divulge complete info on how I got my BL-22 trigger pull down to a nice 3 3/4#. But after shooting a couple hundred trouble free rounds I decided to. Here you go:
About 50% of the BL-22's trigger pull is in the trigger assembly itself. That's true of most stock hunting and plinking rifles. What I discovered by playing around with different strength springs in the trigger assy in the lever is that the front spring isn't needed at all! It supplies most of the trigger return force. But the sear link at the rear of the assy and the sear spring together supply enough return pressure to make the trigger operate correctly. With the front spring removed and a lighter spring under the sear link I get a nice 3 3/4# pull with no initial slack to take up. Your rifle may or may not respond like mine did depending on how the parts fit together and how well broken in your rifle is. The good thing is that this is a reversable mod. If you decide to do this to your rifle remember to push the trigger pivot pin out from the left side and reinstall from the right side - this is SOP for most all gun pins and sights.
I don't really like the design of the BL-22 trigger and I'm going to eventually make a one piece trigger with a little roller at the top rear that will trip the sear.

Just got back from an extended shooting session. The 3 3/4# trigger is great and has exibited no bad habits.
One thing I like about this rifle is that it digests any kind of ammo equally well. I shot Lapua Match and Club, Fiochi sub sonic and match, Remington Sub Sonic, Winchester T-22 and bulk pack XPert and Dynapoints all equally well. I did have to ad some "up" adjustment to my scope setting for the sub sonic rounds, but that's all.
If any of y'all try my trigger modifications please post your results.
